COLLECTIVE HARMONY

This collective art making project was designed for, and facilitated at, the 2020 Succurro Festival in East Meredith, NY. A blank canvas stretched around a silo in the midst of the festivals happenings. Above hung a question: “How Can We Create Collective Harmony?” Festival goers were invited to respond through participating in painting a mural. Both the act of painting together and viewing the collective work was a way to deepen our understanding that all creative expression is collective even when channeled through an individual. Together we  explored the benefits of collective creation.
